The Acupuncture for Childbirth Team (ACT)

is an established group of acupuncture practitioners with expertise in obstetric and fertility care. We are dedicated to enhancing the birth experience using the wisdom and knowledge of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Our members have been working in the Northwest area for over 10 years. We share a particular interest in the use of acupuncture to support women during pregnancy, labour, childbirth, postnatally and prior to conception. Our aim is to promote the use and to increase the availability of traditional acupuncture in these areas.

All ACT practitioners are members of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and/or the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM)
